You must decide to apply to either school which offers academic classes in Japanese (Japanese track) or in English (English track).

All exchange students (both Japanese track and English track) are able to take Japanese language classes besides academic classes if they want. Japanese language class level is decided according to the placement test held at Meiji and cannot be ascertained before arrival.

2024年度または2025年度に受験し，合格した日本語能力試験認定書が必要です。（N1は受験年度を問わないものとする。）有効な認定書が提出できない学生は，明治大学日本語オンラインテストを受験していただきます。オンラインテストに関する案内は所属大学担当者に送信します。
Applicants shall submit the JLPT test certificate passed on a test taken in either the 2024 or 2025 academic year. N1 certificate does not matter when it was issued. Those who cannot submit a Japanese Language Proficiency Test Certificate must take Meiji University Japanese Language Online Test. Meiji University will send the information about the online test to your Exchange Student Program Coordinator via email.

7. 明治大学が手配する学生寮の申込確認　Dormitory arranged by Meiji University
Fact Sheetをよく読んだ上で明治大学が手配する学生寮への入寮を希望するか決めてください。申込後のキャンセルまたは変更ができませんので、よく考えてお申込みください。

7-3. 希望する宿舎

1. 7-1で「明治大学の寮を申し込みます。」を選択した学生は、食事プランの希望と、希望する宿舎を第1〜第4希望まで選んでください。それ以外の選択肢を選んだ学生は、すべて「寮を希望しない」を選択してください。
Students who choose "I apply to the Meiji University Dormitory" at the section 7-1 must select your preference of Meal plan and the accommodations for 1st to 4th choice. Other students have to select "Don't apply for the Meiji University Dormitory" at every section.

2. ドーミー葛西グローバルハウスは男性専用です。

3. 東京女子学生会館は女性専用です。
Tokyo Female Students Dormitory is for the female students only.

4. 希望する宿舎を選ぶ際は、同じ宿舎を複数回選択しないでください。
